The Wolf Boy

Dear King June-bug,

I am sorry to say that your son has been captured by the evil termites.

Here are my plans for getting your son back to you:

I have summoned all of the talking beasts to the Lawn of Lillies. I will organize them into the following steps.

1. First I am going to send the small animals in. Some of them will think that this is a preposterous idea, but they will be wrong. Once the termite soldiers are preoccupied with the small animals, then step two of the rescue plan will start.

2. Second I will go, with the wolves and the dwarves, into the lair of Mordred and General Ninabroug. I will snatch the prince out of their lair. They will not notice me doing so because the termite soldiers are wolves and I am a wolf also.

3. Third, I will instruct the larger talking beasts to destroy as many termite mounds as they can as a distraction while I am escaping with your son and bringing him to you.

These are my plans for rescuing your son.

PS: We will not need help from any of your soldiers, but we do need your approval before we can put my plan into action.

The Librarian!

I am the new librarian for my boy scout troop. I have to first go through the inventory and find out what is missing and also check each merit badge book to see if it is current or out of date. I also get to call each person that checked out a book and has forgotten to turn it back in. This should be "fun" as most of the check out slips are from 2008! My advancement coordinator said not to collect the fines for the overdue books, but instead to let her know if these people have lost the book. My advancement coordinator will then make sure that these books are replaced by those that have lost them.

Also, I will get to make a report to the troop committee.

Serving as the troop librarian will help me earn my Life Scout Rank! I have to serve in a leadership position for six months as one of the requirements for my Life Rank and the librarian position counts for this. This is good since I really enjoy books, so being the troop librarian is fun for me!

My Dear Prince Vix-song,

This is grave new I bring to you. I must tell you that you are the king now! For I was with your brothers and your father in the last battle of the king. We were attached by archers! I suddenly saw the king shot down by an arrow! Your brothers were killed by swordsmen and I thought that this was my dieing day as well. But a wolf wing rescued me. So I am alive to tell you this news.
