This past week my family and I celebrated my birthday. It was a blast! In our family, when it is our birthday, we get to choose all of the meals and activities of the day. So on my birthday I started us all out with chocoloate, chocolate chip oatmeal with raisens. After we got all cleaned up (My little brother had to change his shirt after dropping too much chocolate oatmeal on his shirt!) we jumped into the van and went used book hunting! This is one of my most favorite acitivities. We found over 25 books all together. I also found a great 500 piece puzzle of a Native American wolf warrior. We have had the best time putting it together over the past couple of days. When we finished my Mom helped me glue it onto a carboard frame so that I can hang it up in my bedroom.
I also found a special, two-disc edition of Jonah (A Veggie Tale movie), which all of my little wolflings will enjoy. They love the pirate veggies in this movie.
For lunch my grandpa joined us at Hong Kong 97 for some excellent chinese food. My favorite dishes are eggrolls and chicken fried rice. I was thrilled to open two of my birthday gifts at lunch. One was my own copy of the Voyage of the Dawn Treader dvd - the other, and so far my all time favoriate gift EVER, was the Schleitch Bayala dragon and rider. I call the rider Dragon Prince and I have made him one of the central characters in my story. I wonder if Donita K. Paul has seen this dragon and rider!?!
For dinner, on my birthday, we ate cake and ice cream. I say, why waste time with other food when you can go straight to the cake and ice cream! Then we watched my new Voyage of the Dawn Treader movie of coarse!
It was a great day!
