Here are some of my thoughts about each of these books:
Dragon Spell - It is the first book in the Dragon Keepers Chronicles series. It is about a quest, peril, danger into an evil strong hold. When all else fails young Kale must choose her fate ... will she stay at The Hall, or choose to serve Paladin. When I first read this book I read the whole series three to four times over.
Dragon Quest - It is the second book in the series. Feeling lost, abandoned; wondering where are your parents, having to leave your training at The Hall, starting your training to become a wizard and then summoned by your leader to go find a Meech dragon and rescue her; these are all things that happen to Kale and Bardon in this book. It is also a must read!
Dragon Knight - It is the third book in the series. While the previous books have centered mostly on Kale, this one takes on Bardon as the main character. Bardon must go and spend time reading and staying away from civilization. But when he gets to his spot, there are people there that he must help. He meets up with those he loves and realizes that sometimes other peoples needs are more important that his own. Another must read!
Dragon Fire - Is is the fourth book in the series. It is my favorite book in the whole series, and also my favorite book that Donita K. Paul has written. Battles supreme when three forces clash, striving to be in charge of all of the evil forces. A must, Must!, MUST! READ!
Dragon Light - Is the final installment in the Dragon Keeper Chronicles. It has been three years and Amara has recovered significantly. Kale and Bardon think they are going on a peaceful quest, but instead they are facing evil that they can't even see! This is a fitting conclusion to her first series, but it leaves one wishing for more. Yes, another Must Read!
The Vanishing Sculptor - This is Donita K. Paul's newest book. This one started out slowly, but once you read it you are wanting the second one to come out. I really liked it and it too is a must read!
