I am excited that there are a lot of new books that are coming out this year. I have been waiting for some of them to come out for months and years. Here is the list of what I am impatiently waiting to read:
Song of the Ovulum , by Bryan Davis (June 1st release date)
Masters and Slayers, by Bryan Davis (actually came out last year but I haven't had a chance to read it yet. It is in the Tales from Starlighter series. This series is the same series as the Starlighter series. The first publisher dropped the series after the second book and Bryan Davis had to change the name of the series when he published the third book in the series.)
The Warrior, also by Bryan Davis (also already release, but I won't have access to a copy until March of this year. This book is the third book in the Tales from Starlighter series.)
The Map Accross Time, by C.S. Lakin (This is the second in the Gates of Heave sereis. It is supposed to be released in the spring of 2011.)
The Monsters in the Hollows, by Andrew Peterson (This has a release date of 2011, which really leaves it wide open for when I will finally get to read this book! It is the third in the Wingfeather Saga and I just about cannot wait to read it!)
Dragons of the Watch, by Donita K. Pual (This is the third in the Chiril Trilogy and it has a release date of 2012. Donita K. Paul is my absolute most favorite author ever and when I cannot bear to wait any longer for this new book, I re-read her previous seven books to hold me over. I have read them all at least five times I think.)
I also want to read the last three books in the Knights of Arethrae series.
There is a new series that my mom is reading to me but I don't know yet if is good as Donita K. Paul. We are only in the first book so far, but have it and two more sitting on the shelf waiting to read before the fourth one comes out later this year. It is the Epic of Karolan series, by Ari Heinze. The books are: Riding Against the Storm, Ashes of Our Joy, Rain, Wind and Fire, and the fourth one is to be called Darkness Gathers Round. The start to this first book was a little slow, but it is starting to pick up speed quickly now. It reminds me of L.B. Grahm's Binding of the Blade series in that it also started slow. However, the starting is not as confusing as L.B. Grahm's Binding of the Blade series was at the beginning.
Thats all for now,
The Wolf Boy
